Leaving Comments
Leave a relevant comment
We have mentioned providing your business with an online blog before, and if you've taken our advice, you should have a spreadsheet detailing the sites where you've duplicated it, such as MySpace, Blogger, Wordpress, etc.
Well, our second tip for your blog is that as well as providing regular updates and keeping it fresh and informative, you put aside some extra time to survey other sites too, with the aim of leaving comments that link back to your own website.
When commenting on other blogs, make sure that their content is in some way relevant to your own blog and website, and ensure that your comments are related to what's being discussed in the post - this is basic etiquette as it shows that you have digested the information and means that the owner of the blog will choose to publish your comments as opposed to someone who may have simply written 'Luv Ur Blog! LOLZ'.
