Google Pay Per Click Ad Management Bolton | Bolton Google PPC Marketing | Bolton
What is Google pay per click (Google Adwords)?
Google Adwords are the text or image adverts that appear when you use the Google search engine to search for something. They appear down the right hand column and for the people who have bid the most on that keyword or phrase at the top of the page. They can also appear on other websites which agree to show the adverts.
Advertisers are charged each time somebody clicks on an advert.
Why should I choose Vizcom and not do it myself?
We have the knowledge to make sure you get the maximum out of your budget and are enrolled on the Google Adwords certification programme. Most advertisers make very common mistakes when first experimenting with Google Adwords and often use their budget up quickly with very little to show for it.
Common mistakes when starting with Google Adwords
- Writing adverts which are too general so encouraging people to click on the advert and wasting clicks and of course money.
- Not adding a price which includes delivery and tax (if applicable) - you need to let the visitor know exactly what it costs so you don't waste clicks.
- Not linking the advert to the correct landing page. Ideally you want to make sure that people click your advert and go directly to the correct page where they can buy and are not just 'dumped' on the home page.
- Using incorrect keywords for all adverts. So for example if you where selling fishing bait and you wanted to advertise Sticky Baits boilies but didn't sell their clothing range then attracting clicks for people looking for Sticky Baits clothing would be wrong.
- Not including your targetted keywords within your advert.
- Targetting all countries when you may only sell to the UK or a specific area within the UK.
- Not specifying demographics - for example if you can't sell to under 18s then you need to exclude this age group.
- Stopping your advert appearing when someone uses a word along with one of your chosen phrases for example cheap fishing bait when you don't sell cheap fishing bait.
- Not including USPs (Unique Selling Points) within your advert. For example: Made in the UK. In stock - same day despatch.
How do we manage your Google pay per click campaign?
- Our first starting point is keyword research using Google's keyword suggestion tool. Looking for search phrases which are used regularly but without particularly high bids.
- We then write adverts about your services or products which are very specific and encourage the visitor to click on the advert. We make sure that the advert leaves the reader in no doubt of what is on offer and what it costs (this way you will discourage casual browsers and save money on clicks). The advert goes directly to the page the product is on and they aren't 'dumped' on the home page and left to find out what they need. This is a very commom mistake with people running their own campaigns.
- We monitor your campaign to see what adverts are working and which ones need adjusting, adding and removing keywords as we go along.
- Your campaign is demographically targetted and country specific - if required. We also install Google Analytics in to your website and link it to your campaign so we can see what adverts resulted in sales.
- Your campaigns are split in to individual groups with their own keywords assigned to them.
- You determine your budget and could start with as little as £3 a day - we'll advise if this is too low.
