Making Your Content Relevant
All of the categories displayed all help towards making your website operate to its best possible capability. By reviewing each page of your site through the search bar here, you can quickly look at your site the way a search engine would see it, and ask yourself lots of questions. Are the keywords you’ve chosen to describe the page relevant? What about the most used words in the text itself- are they relevant, or should the text be rewritten? Do the outgoing links work? Is the page listed on Google?
Knowing the size of the page is relevant to the aesthetic appearance and should considered when you’re calculating how long it takes a page to load - even in this day and age, there’s internet users out there who still depend on dial-up, and they have to be taken into consideration. Have you edited the page title to say something specific, or have you not edited it at all and it still reads ‘Blahblah.com/page6’?
Sure, you could put your website live and online for all to see, but without paying attention to the smaller details, you may not be receiving as much fresh traffic as you would like.
