What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Internet Marketing?

How long will it take to optimise my website?

This is dependent on many factors some of which can include:

  • If your site contains scripting errors or uses too much coding then this can affect your site's peformance but doesn't always mean we can't achieve good results. What do we do?
Stage 1.
We produce a report which makes suggestions of how the website can be improved from a users and a search engine point of view, technical aspects, structure of pages and visual impression.

Stage 2.
We provide a ‘key word report’ to see what people are searching for on the internet in relation to your business, products and services.

Stage 3.
We change or add text, add relevant key words, descriptions, headings, page titles, alt attributes, add internal inks and add different search terms per page.

Stage 4.
We produce a site map (if not existing). Any other domain names are changed to 301 re-directs. We add a robots txt. file if not existing.

Stage 5.
We submit the website to the main search engines, if no listing appears or the site is brand new. We manually submit the website to more than 300 preferred link directories and other search engines.

Stage 6.

Link Building as part of your Search Engine Marketing

What is link building? Basically it is the number of incoming links to your website (the number of times that your web address (URL) appears on another website). Google and other search engines look at the number of incoming links to your site, the relevance of the keyword or phrase that is being searched for, where the link is coming from and the quality of your website content. They use this information along with many other factors to deem your site's importance and relevancy to the key word or phrase being searched for and position you accordingly.
